MQTT concepts clicked for me only when I could see them live, so I built a sandbox that feels like a real factory. The system simulates devices, alarms, and a controller with a live dashboard on top of an MQTT broker. Watching retained messages, QoS, and LWT in the UI turned protocol details into intuition.
